I have developed over the last few weeks a new obsession which is nail polish.
I never used to wear nail polish much except for nights out on the town. To be honest I am not very patient with the whole painting a couple of coats and letting in dry, I always ruin it by smudging etc.
As I am currently unemployed (boo!) I have found myself with quite alot more time on my hands! As a result of this I have been passing said time with painting my nails alot!
I do not have a huge collection of polishes, it currently consists of three Barry M Nail Paints in Berry Ice Cream, Mint Green and Pure Turqoise.
As today was a Saturday I got up and had a little look on blogs, twitter etc and saw that Holly had posted about Chanel Paradoxal. This colour looked gorgeous but had a very hefty price tag! Then upon perusing twitter I saw that Vex in the City had found a perfect dupe for this nail polish from Models Own in Purple Grey.
So I hot footed it down to my local boots with my advantage card in hand knowing I had enough points to purchase this gorgeous polish. Unfortunately my boots did not have that colour so I settled for my second choice which was Grey Day (this actually seemed quite fitting given the lovely English weather we are currently having!)
This is a cloud grey colour which looks absolutely gorgeous and I shall be trying this out very soon.
This is slightly darker than the colour looks like in real life , but not too far off .
Anyway enough rambling about that and back to my original point!!
I have now ordered Purple Grey from the Models Own website www.modelsownit.com and am very excited for its arrival. The website does say that they have limited stock left and they will be creating a waiting list for those who cannot get hold of this.
I just wanted to shout out to this whole community really on, youtube, blogs and twitter. It is a lovely community with lovely girls who share their finds and tips with you and I have found these very useful.
Anyway enough of me banging on about sharing the love, hope you all manage to get hold of this dupe and save yourselves a tidy sum just like me.
